5th August -- Glyn Ceiriog, North Wales
The B- walk started from Chirk and following The Ceiriog Valley to Glyn Ceiriog. Under the Llangollen Canal Aqueduct, at the start, with easy climbs both sides of the valley going through woods and grass moors, stopping off at Pontfadog for lunch by the side of the river. The C walk took a very similar route but more direct and with less climbing. Photos from C walk.

The A walk also started from Chirk passing the Castle and on to the ridge following the Llwybyr Ceiriog Trail up over the summit of Y Foel before dropping down into Glyn Ceiriog.

The B+ walk was circular from Glyn Ceiriog,with a mixture of woodland, open fields and riverside sections. The walk started heading westwards up the wooded Nant tafar valley as far as Tan-y-foel then southwards across the fields to Aberweil and down to the River Teirw. From there we followed the Ceiriog river southwards to Pen-y-Bo and turned eastwards climbing across fields, with good views to the west and north, up to Spring Hill. From there we headed north, round the edge of Caemor Wood, through the woods at Bryn and at Coed Coilfryn and followed the path back to Glyn Ceiriog.
